I’ve been going non-stop between depositions and photo shoots and the excitement of a preschool graduate in the house.
Probably due to lack of sleep, the migraines have been coming more frequently and they’ve been rather fierce. So, I’m taking the holiday weekend off {no editing, no shoots, no deposition prep, no computer time} and hopefully getting some much needed rest.
The only blessing of a migraine is that afterwards, I have a lot of clarity and find myself solving lots of problems all at once. It’s like a surge of ideas after a short-circuit or something. In the time that I just lay there and can’t really move, lots of ideas float in and out. I’m hoping that in these next few days I can get them down and put them into action.
Exciting post-migraine news:
-I’ve made a lot of changes within PaperBoatPhotography.com that should make the site more user friendly.
-Painting begins on my in-home studio this week.
-New products for clients
-I have a photoshoot scheduled for me {gulp} with the amazing Todd Pellowe. I’ve loved and adored his work for ages and I’m so excited, though a bit nervous, to be on the other side of the camera.
-Ideas about how to incorporate giving into my business and a refreshed business mission inspired by this fascinating video about business and motivation.
I hope you all have a wonderful July 4th weekend!
