Sorry for the long absence here. First, my top people were sick. And sick and sick. Then, I had to work like mad to make up time lost at the office. Then, there was Halloween and family visits. I have never wanted my daughter to feel like there are things we can’t do because I work, so I go a little overboard on the holiday traditions to make sure she will have all of the magic that I had growing up. And, now I am beginning to catch up on photography projects. This month and next month are crunch time for lawyers who bill hours, so my plan is to write a lot and set up posting to occur throughout the end of the year so that you will still have fresh posts to read, and I will keep my head above water.
So, what’s new:
*Friends…I’m just going to be honest. I have scoured the market for holiday card templates to use for my clients and I have found none more beautiful, more original, more simple than those here at minted and here at tiny prints. I’ve noticed the minted ones are a bit more affordable this year. If you order cards with me, let’s pick one of these designs. It will save you money and more than anything, your card will look amazing and you can order more without going through me. Awesome.
*Etsy has launched a new weddings shop. So many original ideas for DIY weddings.
*Target has begun carrying Boots products. I fell in love with Boots Pharmacy when I lived in England. Just seeing their logo makes me miss being there. My favorite products are around six bucks and are perfect in every way.
*Our friends Steve & Jill are heading out to New Zealand for a year or so next week. Follow their next adventure on their blog here.
*Obsessed with this pink coat from JCrew but cannot imagine ever spending this much for something that doesn’t have RAM or shoot photos. Every page of the Garnet Hill and Anthro catalogues are amazing this season. So much fun and a great resource for poses.
*Does everyone else already read Design Sponge? Probably. I loved this feature on one of my favorite photog’s homes.
*I loved the decor for all three homes in the movie The Holiday and really enjoyed this blog post on the subject.
*Love this new-to-me blog Ruffled sharing real eco friendly, indie wedding images.
