When I am taking photographs, I think about songs I’ve heard, paintings I’ve seen, books I’ve read, magazine spreads…all of it. I am so thankful to live in this time when I can so easily discover art that moves me created by people who live in places that I’ve never been. Let’s face it, there are a lot of haters in the world. It’s nice to find people creating beautiful things and finding beauty in things just a click away. It’s amazing what can happen when an eye shifts away from “what do I hate” to instead focus on “what do I love.”
