The Avett Brothers have an album coming out September 28th called I and Love and You. For the next week, you can listen to the entire album for free here at NPR. My favorite song on the album is called Perfect Space. You can listen to it here, unless of course you are my mom, who says “I’m not clicking on anything that makes it hard for me to get back.”
I love the idea of a perfect space, like the comfy pillow-walled forts that I’ve been building with my daughter and the peace and order of boat cabin quarters. Just enough space. There’s something to that.
