Today, I am thankful for you.
Your stopping by here is often the push that I need…a deadline for me to notice things, stop for them and share them. Your comments and emails mean more to me than you know.
I’m finishing up some editing this morning and listening to the fog horns on Charleston Harbor. {They have to be in my top five favorite sounds and remind me of waking up in college to those muted traffic sounds on the Cooper River} Today, I came across these images from Courtney & Rob’s beautiful day at Darby Dan Horse Farm. These images are some of my favorite things: musicians tuning up, evening light, looking in from the outside and anticipation for a moment. I love stepping back in these moments to find the quiet so that I can take in all of the sounds of color.*

*If I haven’t recommended it before, the children’s book, Sounds of Colors by Jimmy Liao is beautiful, though you will probably enjoy it more than your young children.
