*I heard this old David Bowie song, Sound & Vision on WRFL driving to work on Monday. How have I never heard this song before? It is the soundtrack for the week. May we always live in a college town so that I can enjoy the quiet airspace between tracks as the novice deejays try to figure things out and in the process, share the gems that they discover.
*People often tell me they love the music on the Paper Boat website written by Eli Thomas and Kevin Johnston. I am eternally grateful that they have allowed me to use their amazing song on the site and I’m even more thankful for their friendship. Eli plays in a band, Bird of Youth, playing tonight at 8pm at Ars Nova {W 54h St @10th Ave}. His band The Habit will also be playing a set this Friday, 9pm at Bar4 {444 7th Ave @ 15th St in Park Slope}. New York readers, go check it out and know how jealous my husband and I are that we can’t be there too.
*Love this Working Girls post from Elizabeth Messina. Sure, I’m a sucker for clotheslines and white laundry, but I love what she writes in the post as much as her beautiful image.
*Some of the cutest save the date and invitation cards I’ve seen from Ello There on Etsy.
*I always enjoy scrolling through Habit, but the July 9th post may be a new all-time fave.
*The most romantic honeymoon post ever. Wow. Just wow.
*In about another week, I should be finished with the home studio. The paint is awesome. Here’s a little sneak peek of the color. I’ll give you a proper photo tour when I’m finished.
*Have a good week friends.
