Drinking: Green Tea Latte
Listening to: Lady Gaga – Bad Romance
Lady Gaga has me thinking about creativity. Even her most shocking, avant-garde stuff takes incredible creativity and vision. I get complacent sometimes. Do you ever ask yourself what you would create if you could create without restrictions?
One challenge to my creativity is distraction. My clients can reach me at all hours. Work bleeds into nighttime. Parenting bleeds into the workday. Two big players in my success survival are Canon {I shoot and print with Canon} & Julie Morgenstern {who has been organizing me via her books for more than a decade}. Naturally, Canon & Morgenstern have partnered for a series of video tutorials and tips about time management and organization. I love this series. Here’s a link to the free videos. Most of them are less than 2 minutes long and address working at home, but the tips apply to pretty much any work situation.
Speaking of creativity, has anyone seen this book Women & The Sea about 16 creative women? If so, is it worth it? It looks lovely, but I can’t justify springing $54 bucks on something I have not at least flipped through first.
